I am so sorry for the ages I took off from blogging. I really was having a lot of personal crap going on between switching jobs to trying to balance three jobs to trying to find my passion for blogging again.. But more on that later! For now lets just get down to the nuts and bolts of it shall we? I know this post is coming on a day that I don't typically blog, but I meant to have it up yesterday but the service industry in Savannah is getting slammed this week because of St Patricks day so I wasn't able to get it up in time. Better late than never!
Now currently I am employed at a local magazine, at a Bed and Breakfast, and I am a day time manager at a restaurant. This all equals well over 60 hours a week, I work seven days a week with no full day off and as you could tell I was uninspired.
I applied for the job online as soon as I got home and immediately began wracking my brain for what I would wear. I had the plan all mapped out in my head, I would get off work at three, speed home and change and then head directly out the door to make my interview at four.
Of course I went through the whole issue of not having anything to wear, I also wasnt sure how professional the environment was because it is a Botanical Garden and I had never been out there. I went with pretty professional because I think that as a general rule it's better to be slightly overdressed than severely underdressed if you aren't sure about the company culture.
This is what I came up with:
Guys, I NAILED the interview, they were impressed with my work and my experience and they are paying me enough that I can quit on of my jobs and actually have days off! I can't even convey to you all how much I needed it and the thought of working on something that I enjoy inspired me enough to finally get back to the blogging! Which is always a plus!
